About Our Optometrist
High Prairie Vision Centre is very pleased to introduce Dr. Shonah Finlay to our patients. Dr. Finlay comes to us from Doctors EyeCare Grande Prairie where she holds special interest in treatment of eye disease and the specialized fitting of contact lenses. Prior to that she cared for several diverse groups of patients both in South Africa and the Caribbean and she has done so with great dedication, earning the right to be considered the caring optometrist.
Dr. Finlay lives in Grande Prairie with her husband and her 4 crazy Danes ruling the roost! In her free time, Shonah enjoys reading, hiking and swimming. Dr. Finlay was born and raised in South Africa and attended the then known Rand Afrikaans University and Johannesburg, where she attained her Optometry degree.
We at High Prairie Vision Centre believe that Dr. Finlay’s best attribute is her ability to relate to patients. Her strength is her interpersonal skills and her passionate interest in meeting the varied visual needs of her patients. We at High Prairie Vision Centre feel fortunate to have such a caring doctor on staff.
